Sealskinz waterproof Socks

sealskinz

Recently i have been riding with the Sealskinz Mid-Thermal Extra warm Waterproof socks. I have used them for downhill riding and cross country and they have been excellent in both.
I was at first a little hesitant as the old design socks were apparently not to comfy and not to breathable. They’ve fixed these problems with the new design, by having a three layer system, (merino wool inner, waterproof middle, tough outer) there’s not much more i can say except that they do exactly what they say on the tin.
If you ride in the cold or wet these socks are a must.

I went riding today in my Sealskinz Socks (and a few other clothes!) for 5 1/2 hours today .. it was close to zero degrees C all day .. and I had to walk quite a bit as the going was icy .. and didn’t get cold feet once !
Yep .. Sealskinz Socks rock !

Sealskinz rock!. I can’t recommend them highly enough!.They make any wet ride much more enjoyable as your leg hands (as I call them),stay dry.I wore them a few winters ago under non-waterproof Merrell approach shoes to clear snow in -2c and my feet were as warm as toast!.
